Pain management

All patients undergoing surgery at Willows benefit from a multi-modal approach to their pain management.
Techniques used include:

  • Epidural injections and catheter placement
  • Local anaesthetic blocks
  • Continuous rate infusions
  • Acupuncture

The Anaesthesia team is closely involved in the analgesia of all hospitalised patients and available for telephone advice for referring veterinary surgeons.
