Congratulations to Charlotte on becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse
3 March 2019
Charlotte has been an integral part of the Willows team for 8 years, and her hard work and dedication have recently paid off as she is now a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse. Charlotte is the dedicated Pharmacy Coordinator and oversees the running of our pharmacy, providing training to new members of staff and ensuring we have all medications and consumables for our patients. Charlotte still also spends time doing other nursing duties to keep her clinical skills up to date.
Willows has a friendly, skilled and highly professional team of Registered Veterinary Nurses who play a vital role in the care of our patients, whether they have been referred to us by other vets or are clients of our primary clinic. The nurses provide support to the vets who work at Willows either in the specialist referral disciplines, the primary clinic or in our internship programme.
Many of our nursing team gain the opportunity to become trained in specialisms in the hospital such as MRI scanning, muscle relaxant anaesthesia, phacoemulsification (cataract) procedures, thoracic surgery, joint replacement procedures, and intensive care.
This approach, along with the support from Veterinary Nurse Assistants, Student Veterinary Nurses, Animal Care Assistants and dedicated Receptionists, gives the opportunity for our Nurses to concentrate on nurse-related activities and to work at the highest level.
Congratulations Charlotte on all your hard work and many thanks for your dedication to our patients and clients over the past 8 years!
