Willows charity donation supports vital work of PetSavers!
22 July 2015
Willows have joined the £200 Project and supports the future of pet health.
PetSavers is almost unique in being one of the few charities concerned with promoting the study of medical conditions in Pets. Founded in 1974, the charity has invested more than £2 million in a number of crucial veterinary medicine research projects spanning oncology, orthopaedics, dermatology and recently the impact of passive smoking on animal health.
Willows feel it is important to support the vital work that PetSavers do. As a specialist practice we support the beliefs of PetSavers, promoting research projects and advanced clinical investigations concerned with the study and improvement of pet medicine and surgery, ultimately improving animal welfare.
Willows have recently become part of the PetSavers £200 project by donating funds raised from cake sales and an additional donation from the practice. We will continue to support PetSavers and raise their profile amongst the public and veterinary professionals.
