Update on Mila

17 February 2016

Over the weekend, you may have been following a local and national news story regarding lovely Mila. Mila was injured during a burglary at her home and was found cowering under a bush in the garden and unable to walk. Mila was referred to Willows for treatment by our Specialist Neurology team.

West Midlands Police appealed for witnesses and shared the story of what had happened to poor Mila and the family.

Mila and her family have received amazing messages of support from social media sites and everyone has been desperate to know how Mila is doing.

With permission from her family, we are able to say that Mila has been receiving Specialist care from our Neurology team here at Willows. Mila is receiving treatment for a traumatic injury to her spine and is currently in a stable condition. She is receiving physiotherapy and treatment for her condition and, of course, lots of love and attention.

Here are some photos of beautiful Mila for all her supporters out there.
