The Cats Protection team at the Birmingham branch receiving their donation
Cats Protection is the UK's leading feline charity. The charity has simple and clear objectives to help cats, finding good homes for cats in need, supporting and encouraging the neutering of cats and providing information to improve people’s understanding of cats and their care.
Cats Protection were the most popular to be voted for and were delighted to receive £3,000!
Paula Beswick, deputy centre manager at the Birmingham Branch of Cats Protection said "It was a wonderful surprise that the Cats Protection has been awarded this large amount of money, we would like to say an enormous thank you to everyone that chose our charity. Cats Protection’s vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs and with this kind donation it will make a huge difference to the many felines that we have in our care and allow us to continue to help abandoned and unwanted cats in the Birmingham area. Willows have given us an enormous amount of support with emergency veterinary care over the last few months and this award has given the charity a major boost."
