6 July 2015
We are pleased to welcome back Andrew Parry to our specialist Diagnostic Imaging team.
Andrew Parry MA VetMB CertVDI DipECVDI MRCVS
RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging
European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging
Andrew left Willows last year for a brief period in academia at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), which is part of the University of London. Andrew returns to Willows as a senior radiologist.
Following his graduation from the University of Cambridge in 1999, Andrew spent many years in mixed and small animal practice, as well as taking many qualifications in veterinary diagnostic imaging. He has numerous publications in the field of diagnostic imaging in peer-reviewed journals, and is the author of several book chapters within this field. Andrew’s interest in vascular imaging, together with the vast experience he has gained throughout his career to date, make him a great addition to our diagnostic imaging team.
Much of the specialist work carried out at Willows wouldn't be possible without the specialist expertise and state-of-the-art facilities of our diagnostic imaging department. Patients assessed at Willows have some of the most sophisticated and advanced diagnostic equipment available to them in the UK. Andrew will be working alongside other specialists from our medical, surgical, ophthalmic, oncology, dermatology and anaesthesia teams, as well as first opinion veterinary surgeons, nurses and support staff.
Andrew is thrilled to be returning to Willows. He very much enjoys the day-to-day challenges which imaging present, from radiology, through to ultrasound, to the newer techniques of CT and MRI, and will be able to use the full range of his many years of dedication and experience to the benefit of his patients.
