A New Year and 30th Birthday celebrations for Willows
1 January 2019
Happy New Year!
On behalf of all the Willows’ team we would like to wish you all a very happy New Year! We would also like to say a huge thank you to all our team who have worked tirelessly over the holiday period and dedicated themselves to our patients 24/7. The door never closes at Willows, our Specialists are able to respond to urgent referrals and our out of hours service is available for our primary care clients as well as pet owners whose regular veterinary practices have signed up to our ‘Out of Hours Emergency Service’. We are committed to excellence 365 days of the year, caring for your pets as if they were our own.
2019 will be a year of big celebrations for Willows as it will be our 30th birthday and we also celebrate our 10th year in this building! We have lots of exciting plans for the year and will be sure to keep you all updated!
This past year has been a very exciting one for Willows as we opened our new extension; we were already well placed to offer a wide variety of specialist treatments but the added space enabled us to build on our gold level cat friendly clinic status, with a radioactive iodine unit for the treatment of cats with hyperthyroidism along with new specialised procedure rooms, new kennels including large walk in kennels, and additional theatres.
In addition to these new expanded areas, we have been able to offer shockwave therapy to rehabilitate dogs suffering from musculoskeletal injuries and osteoarthritis and we have introduced dedicated clinics for patients needing total hip replacements, as well as a clinic for patients with atrial fibrillation and in the new year, we will be offering a new clinic dedicated to patients with epilepsy.
Most recently we have launched our new emergency and critical care service which is a Specialist-led service, based within our advanced intensive care unit and fully supported by our experienced multi-disciplinary team. This service provides an unrivalled level of care for pets with any critical disorder as well as advanced diagnostics and treatment of the most critical patients.
We will continue to keep you up to date over the coming months with all our exciting new developments as part of our commitment to providing our patients with excellence in every aspect of our service.
