Marathon Man!
25 April 2010
Congratulations to Bill Oxley, one of Willows orthopaedic surgeons, who completed in the 2010 London Marathon in just over 4 hours.
Bill is a keen runner, but is more commonly to be seen running on the Lakeland fells than on London's streets. He entered the London Marathon to support Woking and Sam Beare Hospices. They provide a wonderful standard of palliative care for people with life limiting and terminal illness, looking after not only patients themselves but offering support to their families and carers. They receive minimal financial support from the NHS and are always appreciative of donations to help them in the excellent work that they do.
Bill would be very grateful for your support for these hospices. Donations can be made by visiting www.justgiving.com/billoxley
